Learn about the admissions process and what it takes to become a graduate student at GBSC.
How to Apply
The admissions process for graduate students is fairly straightforward.
After receiving your application, transcripts, and recommendations, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
Once approval is granted, your letter of acceptance will be issued, and you can register for classes.
Deadlines
Be sure to check out the course catalog and view the school calendar for important dates and deadlines.
- Fall semester applications are due June 1.
- Spring semester applications are due November 1.

Step 1
One, read up on the admission requirements before you apply.
Step 2
Two, complete your application and pay the $40 application fee. Several 500-word essays will be part of the application:
- Sample of college-level writing
- Reasons for applying
- Rationale for higher education
- Spiritual autobiography
Step 3
Three, request final official transcripts from all previous academic work at any college or university to be sent to our Office of Admissions.

Four, request three written recommendations, including at least one of each of the following:
- Pastor or spiritual leader
- Major professor or academic adviser
- Supervisor or employer
